Rest Retreat: Calling
City Chapel is going through what “Calling” means. Specifically, Christian Calling. Not just pastors and leaders, but all Christians. What does it mean that I’m “called”? If you’ve ever wondered that question, or something similar, this retreat is for you.
We are starting with a “Rest Retreat” to help us understand that our calling does not depend on our “successes” or even, what we do. It’s intrinsic in our being children of God. Join us this weekend, April 10.
When: Sunday, April 10. 9am-5pm
What: Retreat with Travis West as the main speaker (Professor at Western Theological Seminary)
Where: Calvin Eco Preserve (1750 E Beltline Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546)
Food provided. Register to let us know about any food allergies. Plant based options available. A stipend is offered to all households to help you rest/sabbath well. Let us know if child/pet care stipend is needed, too.
